“When we face difficulties in life, my mom used to say, ‘Those who struggle in this world, if they die with tired hands, can live happily in heaven.’ To be honest, I don’t have faith in God, and that’s why I’m in a position where I don’t even know the struggles of my own family (the struggles related to money). Let me tell you something true: I’ve done some work—like working in hotels, with a papadam company, and a workshop, etc. But none of it has brought in profits. What we need is investment; without money, there’s no way to invest. After spending days, we still have nothing to show as an investment.”

During this time, relatives were there to help, but it was mostly his friends who stood by. My mom understood that friends won’t always be there with us.
